Contribution to Documentation
Hello All,
We very much appreciate your input and your help to improve the OpenERP documentation.
Still we would like to ask you to strictly follow the guidelines. We often have problems building the documentation, because lines are too short, bullet lists end without a blank line, ...
These might seem details, but when building the documentation, all of this (and more) is checked.
Before pushing changes, please build the documentation yourself (make clean / make html) to see that no errors occur. In case you get errors, please correct them before pushing.
Thanks for your help! We very much appreciate your effort!
Regards,
Els

New Documentation for Version 6
Hello All,
As from today, you cannot only download the PDF book! We also published the OpenERP Documentation for Version 6 on line (in html).
Check out http://doc.openerp.com. By default, you will see the documentation for Version 6. Of course, you can also access the documentation for Version 5. To do that, simply click the link "See v5 documentation".
Please note that not all the documentation published in Version 6 has been adapted to Version 6 yet. The documentation team continues to update the documentation.
We welcome your feedback!
Regards,
Els

Documentation for Version 6.0.0
Hello All,
OpenERP will publish the new OpenERP Book V6.0.0 this week!
What we accomplished
The documentation team already did a hell of job to add new screenshots and change the menu references.
We also added a list of New Features (will continuously be completed) and we are working on a list of Shortcuts.
We wrote about new functionality such as the improved Outlook & Thunderbird plugins, How to Configure Caldav on your Smartphone, and much more.
What we didn't do
We didn't manage to get all features completely described, but we continue working on it as we speak!
In the near future we will entirely restructure the documentation, and add Key Features per Business Application, but that's for later versions ;-)
Be involved
In the meantime, I welcome your comments and improvements for the documentation through the comments feature on the http://doc.openerp.com website.
Note
Please be aware that documentation is never complete, never up to date and never finished.
Still, I very much like what I'm doing :-)
Stay tuned!
